Juventus have completed the signing of Weston McKennie from Schalke, according to reports in Italy.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club this summer, but it seems he has now made the switch to Turin.

McKennie is expected to be unveiled as a Juventus player at a press conference later today.

He will join up with his new teammates for their first training session on Tuesday.

The move comes after Juventus had previously been linked with a number of other players, including Real Madrid's Isco and Barcelona's Sergi Roberto.

But McKennie's arrival could help to strengthen a midfield that has struggled to cope with the loss of Paul Pogba.

Juventus' manager Massimiliano Allegri has spoken highly of McKennie, describing him as "a young, talented and very promising player".
